Native American Headband Craft


Native American Headband Craft
Learn how to make a headband using a paper bag.

Age Guideline: 3 Years and Up
Time Required: 20 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.


Materials Needed:
Paper Bag
Crayons or Markers
Scrap Construction Paper
Stapler or Cellophane Tape
Scissors

Instructions:
Using the paper bag, cut out a strip of paper about 2-inches thick and long enough to wrap around your forehead. Make sure you make it an inch or two longer so you can staple the ends together. Use crayons or markers to make designs on your headband.

Cut feather shapes out of scrap construction paper and tape or staple onto the inside, top edge of headband. Fit the headband over your head and staple the ends together!
